In Bloom Watercolor Floral

Hello!

I have a floral card to share with you. I just love the look of watercolor flowers!

For my card today I used the In Bloom:Addies Garden stamp set from Winnie and Walter. I stamped my flowers on watercolor paper with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I colored in my flowers with my Zig real brush markers and fussy cut them out and set them aside to create the rest of my card.
My card base is created from Smoke Gray cardstock from SSS, I then cut a piece of vellum slight larger then my white card panel which i cut from a stitched rectangle die.
My sentiment is from the Unforgettable stamp set from Wplus9. Once my panels were adhered on my card base I then adhered down my flowers down and finished off by adding some Fairy-tale Fuchsia sequins from PPP.

That's about it for my card today!
I love the way the flowers turned out so vibrant.
Thank you so very much for stopping by!!

Sending Hugs featuring Newton's Nook

Hi crafty friends!
Hope you're having a lovely week so far!

I have a sweet and simple card to share with you today featuring the lovely   stamp set from Newton's Nook. I love these kitties playing in the yarn. I'm a knitter so this set will be perfect for when I'm gifting something I knitted, and by knitter I mean I knit scarves only, anything other then a straight line is not for me lol, none the less I enjoy it.

On to the card, I created my card with   cardstock from SSS and stamped the background with the smaller stamps in the set with a similar ink color to create a tone on tone look.
I stamped my kitty on heavy weight white cardstock and colored with Copic markers and fussy cut out to adhere onto my card. Silly me once I cut it out I realized I had the coordinating dies! Oh well.
I then cut the small scallop circle from the Scallop Circle dies from PPP and adhered around my kitty. I used the Wisteria Blossom sequin mix from PPP and scattered a few onto my car.
To finish it off I stamped my sentiment and added some bakers twine to the top.

That's it! Fairly simple but I love the colors together!
Hope you enjoyed.
Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Dad and Me water colored card Featuring Lawn Fawn

Hello!

Happy Tuesday! Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
I know I'm a dad late with a Father's Day card as it was Sunday but thought I'd share with you the card I created for my Dad for Father's day. Although the sentiment would work for anytime of the year as a nice card for Dad.

For my card today I used the adorable Dad and Me stamp set from Lawn Fawn and went for a water colored look.
I stared with my background, using water colored paper I stamped m mountains with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink and stamped river with Broken China Distress Ink, I used my water brush to go over the stamped images to move the color around a little for more of a water colored look, I ended up adding some light blue Zig real brush marker to my pond or river as well. For the rest of my background I colored with my Zig real brush markers. Once my panel was completely dry I stamped my leaves and sentiment on the bottom.

For my adorable critters, I stamped then separately on water color paper, colored in also using my zigs and fussy cut out. I did some masking for my papa bear, stamping his hat first, masking it off then stamping my papa bear.
& that's about it for my card today!!

Always apprentice you stopping by!!
Thank you so much!
Hope you have a lovely day!

Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #12

Hello!

A new challenge starts today over at Stamping Smile Designs Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge.
For my card today I chose to use the first row across, Doily, Layers & Dimensions and Butterflies.

For my main panel I used Neenah desert storm cardstock and cut each side using the Stitched Borders die from PPP.
I used a butterfly stencil I had on hand from a local craft store and used white texture paste to create my white butterflies. I decided I wanted a tad more color so I stamped some butterflies from the Friendship Blooms stamp set from SSS and white heat embossed, colored with my Zig real brush markers and fussy cut them out.
My scripty Hello is also from SSS, I then added some twine and some sequins and clear droplets from PPP to finish off than panel. I adhered my doily on the back of the panel and then adhered onto my card base.

That's it for my card today!
Thank you so very much for stopping by!!

Whimsy Stamps Day 3

Hello again!
Happy Wednesday! Hope you're having a lovely week so far!

I'm stopping in for the last day of the Whimsy Stamps June release.

Today we are simply sharing a creation using any of the stamp sets from the release. I chose the Squeezed stamp set. I just love this fun summery set.

My card was fairly simply to create. I simply stamped all the smaller stamps in the set, lemon, lime, ect on water color paper all over my background and colored in with my Zig real brush markers.
I stamped my sentiment onto a white strip of carstock and adhered closer to the bottomof my card and adhered my panel onto a white card base, and that's it! Very simple to create but I love the look of a colored background.

Thank you so much for joining us for the Whimsy Stamps June release!
Thanks for stopping in today!!

Pretty Pink Posh Rainbow Theme Week

This is my second post for today.

Hello friends!

It is Rainbow Theme week over at Pretty Pink Posh  and I'm on their blog today to share my  rainbow creation.

I decided I wanted to make a rainbow completely out of sequins! So that's exactly what I did!
I'm in love with the new 4 mm iridescent sequins and I thought this was a perfect way to show them off!

I started off creating my rainbow by just adhering my sequins to the paper but I noticed my rows were just wonky and did not look like a rainbow at all so I found something circular in my craft room to trace a faint half circle with. In my case I just used a roll of painters tape but you can use whatever you have on hand that would give you a good guide to start making your rainbow. After I had my rainbow traced out I started adhering my sequins following my traced line, changing colors of sequins each row. I found the best way to adhere the sequins down were to use the Zots bling dots which are just teeny tiny glue dots. I found this worked best simply because I could move my sequins around if I found I wasn't lining them up the way I liked it.

I used the following sequin colors all in 4mm to create the rainbow:

Ok! Now that my rainbow is done onto the rest of my card, I stamped my clouds from the Rainy Days stamp set. My blue clouds are stamped with Bashful Blue ink from Stampin up and then I went in with a blue Copic marker on the edges. My larger cloud was stamped with Lavender ink from SSS.
I fussy cut my clouds out leaving a small white border and adhered towards the top of my rainbow with some fun foam to give them some dimension.

I die cut the Scallop Frames die out of white cardstock to frame my card, I also adhered some fun foam on the back of my frame to pop it up to the same dimension of my clouds.
Lastly, I stamped the 'Brighter Days' sentiment in Dusty Concord Distress ink and the 'Wishing You' part of the sentiment in just black ink from SSS.

That's it for my rainbow card today!! I just love how the rainbow full of sequins turned out!
Thanks for joining me today!
